    NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a molecule found in every cell of the body. It comes in two forms: NAD+ and NADH. The body’s natural ratio is around 9:1.

    Supplemental NAD is somewhat more controversial than other NAD boosters as the molecule itself is believed to be too big to be directly used by the body. Therefore, it must be broken down into smaller molecules before being reformed as NAD. Ultimately, everyone is unique and will react differently to each NAD booster.     Inside the cell, NAD plays an essential role in the Krebs cycle, a process in which the body converts nutrients from food into cellular energy. NAD+ accepts electrons from nutrient breakdown, transforming into NADH, which then carries these high-energy electrons to the mitochondria – the cell’s powerhouses. Here, NADH donates the electrons to the electron transport chain, driving the main form of cellular energy production, ATP. NADH is converted back to NAD+, allowing the cycle to continue.     In the body’s natural NAD production cycle, vitamin B3 (niacin) is converted into niacinamide, then into NR, NMN, and finally NAD.

    While there are exceptions to this, many people find that taking more direct precursors such as NR and NMN is a more effective way of increasing NAD levels than taking either Niacin or Niacinamide. NR, while being a less direct precursor to NAD than NMN, is a smaller molecule, and therefore, some scientists believe that it is better absorbed by cells. NMN, on the other hand, is a direct NAD precursor, and most of the scientific literature supports the fact that it may be the most effective NAD booster.

    Supplemental NAD is somewhat more controversial than the other NAD boosters. The molecule itself is believed to be too big to be directly used by the body. Therefore, it has to be broken down first into smaller molecules before being reformed as NAD. Ultimately, everyone is unique and will react differently to each NAD booster.     Some people may feel fatigued when taking NAD boosters, usually due to a methylation issue. During the NAD production cycle, a byproduct called nicotinamide is created. Removing excess nicotinamide from the body requires methylation and methyl groups. If methyl group levels become too low, fatigue may result. TMG (trimethylglycine) is often taken to replenish these methyl groups, which are depleted due to the increased demand following higher NAD production.

    • We'll send you the address to return your product to. Please include a note with your order number inside the parcel so we can identify your return.
    • Once your return is received, we'll process your refund within 7 days.

    Return shipping costs: You'll need to arrange and pay for return shipping unless the product arrived faulty or damaged. All returns are sent to our UK return address. If you're ordering from outside the UK, please keep in mind that international return shipping can be expensive.

    Multiple bottles or larger quantities: If you buy multiple bottles or a larger quantity of the same product in a single order, the guarantee covers the use of one bottle, or the smallest individual size supplied. Any additional unopened units must be returned to receive a refund.

    For example, if you order 180 capsules and receive 2 × 90-capsule bottles, you can open and use one 90-capsule bottle. The second bottle must be returned.

    The 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee does not apply to our 100g NMN or 100g Resveratrol products, as we offer smaller 20g and 30g options to give you the opportunity to try the product before committing to a larger supply.
