Safety & Warnings
Interactions: Apigenin is known to interact with members of the Cytochrome P450 class of enzymes. As a result, it may interfere with antiplatelet and anticoagulant medications such as Warfarin and Aspirin. Because Apigenin has sedative properties, it might compound the effects of certain sedating medications such as Diazepam. It has also been shown to interact with certain chemotherapy agents and may interfere with the effectiveness of certain anti-anxiety medications such as Diazepam. In some people, Apgenin may act in a similar way to the hormone Oestrogen and, therefore, interfere with certain hormone replacement therapy interventions. If you are taking these medications or any other medication, please first speak with your doctor before adding Apigenin to your supplement regime.
