    Fisetin is fat-soluble, meaning it is better absorbed by the body when taken with a fat source. This can be a meal or a healthy snack, such as avocado, yoghurt, coconut, or extra virgin olive oil.

    Everything You Need To Know About Fisetin

    Fisetin is a naturally occurring plant flavonoid that is found in strawberries, apples, persimmons and cucumbers.

    A study published in EBioMedicine demonstrated that Fisetin was the most effective compound among those tested, significantly reducing senescent cell burden in multiple tissues.

    Fisetin primarily acts as a senolytic by selectively clearing senescent cells, which are cells that have stopped dividing but do not die. These cells release harmful molecules that promote inflammation and tissue damage. Over time, their accumulation leads to increased age-related inflammation, known as inflammaging.

    Fisetin promotes apoptosis (programmed cell death) in senescent cells by inhibiting their overactive survivial pathways making them more susceptible to cell death signals.

    While healthy cells also have survival pathways, they rely on them in a balanced way. Senescent cells depend heavily on these overactive pathways to avoid apoptosis. By targeting these exaggerated survival pathways, Fisetin selectively eliminates senescent cells, reducing their build-up and the associated inflammation, while sparing healthy cells.

    Fisetin helps control inflammation by blocking specific cellular signals that would otherwise lead to the production of inflammatory molecules. By preventing this chain reaction, fisetin may reduce the activity of inflammatory molecules, which are responsible for triggering inflammation. Additionally, fisetin boosts antioxidant levels, particularly glutathione, to neutralize reactive oxygen species (ROS) and other free radicals, lowering oxidative stress and inflammation.

    In a healthy body, senescent cells are cleared efficiently to prevent them from releasing pro-inflammatory signals.  Over time cells that are less efficient in DNA repair and protein folding also accumulate damage more readily, which encourages them to become senescent. Also, the immune system weakens (a process called immunosenescence), reducing its capacity to detect and eliminate senescent cells. As senescent cells accumulate, so does chronic inflammation, increasing demand on the body’s resources to combat it, as well as causing cellular damage.

    One of the most effective approaches to counteracting aging is clearing senescent cells. Senescent cells release inflammatory molecules and contribute to persistent low-grade inflammation, known as ‘inflammaging.’ Fisetin’s ability to target and remove these cells may reduce inflammation and oxidative damage, improving overall cellular health and increasing resilience to age-related decline.

    In a healthy state, most cells replicate a certain number of times and then die to allow for the replacement of old or damaged cells.     60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee

    We want you to feel confident trying our products. If you're not satisfied for any reason, you can return your product within 60 days of receiving it for a full refund.

    This includes if you've changed your mind, haven't noticed the difference you hoped for, experienced side effects, or simply decided the product isn't right for you.

    How to claim the guarantee

    • Email returns@vitality-pro.com with your order number, which you'll find in your order confirmation email.
    • We'll send you the address to return your product to. Please include a note with your order number inside the parcel so we can identify your return.
    • Once your return is received, we'll process your refund within 7 days.

    Return shipping costs: You'll need to arrange and pay for return shipping unless the product arrived faulty or damaged. All returns are sent to our UK return address. If you're ordering from outside the UK, please keep in mind that international return shipping can be expensive.

    Multiple bottles or larger quantities: If you buy multiple bottles or a larger quantity of the same product in a single order, the guarantee covers the use of one bottle, or the smallest individual size supplied. Any additional unopened units must be returned to receive a refund.

    For example, if you order 180 capsules and receive 2 × 90-capsule bottles, you can open and use one 90-capsule bottle. The second bottle must be returned.

    The 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee does not apply to our 100g NMN or 100g Resveratrol products, as we offer smaller 20g and 30g options to give you the opportunity to try the product before committing to a larger supply.
